Upgrade V5 Standard to V7

This product is an upgrade for existing for owners of V5 Standard Edition only.

V7 is Soundminer's next generation consolidated 64 bit products with support for Apple Silicon/Intel on MAC & Native Universal Binary for Windows.  

V7 highlights include Tabbed searching, assignable key command controls, includes a new AAX based Monitor plug-in allowing up to 7.1 streams routed directly into the DAW, Xray Waveforms, and exciting new advances in the Radium feature set. 

In addition, V7 adds the new Soundminer Similarity engine: a new collection of tools that finds sounds by listening to their audio character rather than relying only on filenames or metadata. V7 also includes the new Galaxy visual browser, which expands similarity searching graphically, and creates new ways to move from a seed sound to an edited, processed, and spotted result.

This release also introduces the Mini Sampler starting in Plus, substantially expands Radium, adds new built-in effects, improves plug-in hosting, and provides new ways for Pro Tools, Reaper, and compatible AI assistants to work directly with Soundminer.

Please Note: V5 was a Mac only product and upgrades assume like for like: In other words, it will be assumed you will be upgrading to a Mac only version of V7. If you wish to upgrade and move to Windows or require Universal licensing, please contact sales@soundminer.com. The older legacy 'Standard' product no longer exists and has been consolidated into our current product line with the closest option being Plus. Plus additionally has options to add a Client Server module or the ProPackV6 module(with Radium). 

All desktop software requires the presence of one of the supported USB dongle systems - ILOK or Codemeter(CM) keys. We do not resell ILOK keys. ILOK Cloud is supported. A user must have an ILOK account in order to select this option and nothing is shipped and downloads are electronic.  When choosing the Codemeter option, the cost of a Codemeter key ($80USD) is added to the price and a shipping estimate is calculated at check out.  HASP HL keys are no longer sold or supported(users with these older keys must move to Codemeter going forward). 

MAC support for this product starts at 10.14 and supports Apple silicon/Intel systems and hardware. Windows 10/11 supported in V7

*V7Pro will read most V5 database, but we advise you to rescan into a clean new database given the many many changes since V5.
