In the past months, the sound designers from BOOM Library have been very busy recording and designing specialized, high class sound material for three new professional sound libraries, continuing the very successful concept of their first release: “CINEMATIC METAL”
Being the second release, “CREATURES” is also divided into two separate parts: The “CREATURES – DESIGNED” are 250 ready-designed sound effects, offering anything between snarling monsters, scuttling insects and slimy, menacing zombies. They were created with original source material from the „CREATURES CONSTRUCTION KIT“, which are 6000 originally recorded sounds in 1000 files, ready to create fantastic, unique creatures and beasts.
A great recent addition to “Creatures” is the extensive “WILDCATS – TIGERS & LIONS” library, which includes over 3.4 GB of growls, sniffs, snarls, mating calls, moans and incredible roars from real tigers and lions, offering even more possibilities to create frightening, authentic effects in 192 kHz, 24-bit.
Another magnificent asset to every sound designer’s sound library is the very special “GUNS” Collection. Created in the same fashion as “Cinematic Metal” and “Creatures”, it provides 12-channel multitrack recordings of 17 firearms, including rifles, pistols and shotguns, as well as over 350 ready-to-use sound effects for all sorts of impressive weapon sounds.
